While we’ve always appreciated a colourful braided number, picked it up from a pretty hippie market in Ibiza or at a beachfront shop in Bali (only to be worn during our travels), this year, we’re encouraging you to embrace colourful handcrafted jewellery a little closer to home and all year round! Beaded bracelets, in fact beaded anything, is totally making a comeback and is a huge colourful jewellery trend for the year. #4: Unusual materials make the funnest colourful jewellery
Harking back to their Y2K heyday, this year we’re also seeing loads of unexpected materials being turned into fun and funky colourful jewellery. Materials such as resin, glass, and lucite are all being turned into the cutest jewellery for women. Often created in pastel colours, sometimes with rhinestone accents, and almost always with a kind of translucent vibe, this style of colourful jewellery feels light and airy making it the ultimate spring/summer trend.
